Privacy Policy

Beamdesk operates a helpdesk SaaS platform for customer support teams. This draft explains the categories of data we expect to process and the operational commitments customers can review before the full legal pack is published.

We collect account information such as names, email addresses, workspace settings, roles, billing identifiers, and authentication events. We also process ticket content, attachments, customer messages, agent replies, knowledge base material, and configuration data supplied by a workspace.

Usage analytics may include page views, feature events, device/browser details, IP-derived region, performance metrics, and error reports so we can operate and improve the service.

We use personal data to provide support workflows, route and summarize tickets, authenticate users, secure accounts, deliver notifications, measure reliability, process billing, and improve product quality.

We share data only with service providers needed to run Beamdesk, such as hosting, AI inference, email delivery, CDN, and billing vendors. See the Subprocessors page for the current provider list.

Audit log entries are retained for 90 days unless a customer plan or legal requirement states otherwise. Ticket storage is retained indefinitely for workspace continuity unless the customer deletes the ticket, requests export/deletion, or terminates under the DPA.

Depending on your location, including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, you may request access, deletion, correction, portability, or objection to certain processing. Beamdesk supports customers in responding to these requests where we act as processor.

Beamdesk is designed around EU primary processing with fallback services in the United States where needed for availability, AI inference, billing, or security operations. Transfer safeguards are documented in the DPA draft.

We use essential cookies for authentication and service operation, and only enable optional categories after consent. See the Cookie Policy.

We use PostHog (EU-hosted) to measure marketing site performance and product usage. Analytics fire only after you accept the analytics cookie category. You can change preferences anytime via the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Beamdesk is not directed to children and should not be used to knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, or under the relevant age of digital consent in their jurisdiction.

We will update this page when legal scaffolding changes materially and will preserve the last-updated date for procurement and audit review.
