Terms of Service
Structural terms scaffold for Beamdesk service access, acceptable use, billing, cancellation, liability, and governing law.
Introduction
These structural terms outline the commercial and operational framework for using Beamdesk before the public legal pack is finalized.
Acceptance
By creating an account, using a trial, or accessing a paid workspace, a customer accepts the applicable order form, these terms, and linked policy pages as they are finalized.
Service description
Beamdesk provides helpdesk SaaS for managing support conversations, knowledge, channels, analytics, and AI-mediated support workflows that assist agents and automate configured tasks.
Acceptable use
Customers may not use Beamdesk for spam, illegal content, malware, abusive activity, infringement, attempts to bypass security controls, or processing data they do not have rights to process.
Account responsibilities
Customers are responsible for user access, workspace configuration, data submitted to the platform, credentials, integrations, and compliance obligations tied to their own customers and channels.
Subscription + billing
Plan features and commercial terms are listed on Pricing. Card processing and hosted checkout flows are subject to applicable Stripe services terms.
Trial terms
Trials are provided for evaluation, may include feature or usage limits, and may be converted, suspended, or ended according to the checkout or order-form terms presented at signup.
Cancellation
Customers can cancel future renewals through billing settings or support. Access and export windows after cancellation are documented in the final terms and DPA.
Refund policy
Refund handling is designed to align with the billing evidence trail. See the honest pricing audit log when authenticated.
Liability cap
The final terms will include a commercially reasonable liability cap tied to fees paid in a lookback period, with standard exclusions for confidentiality, misuse, and payment obligations.
Indemnification
Customer indemnities cover unlawful content, misuse of the service, and claims arising from customer-controlled data or instructions. Beamdesk indemnities will be stated in the full terms.
Termination
Beamdesk may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, material breach, or prohibited use, with notice where practical and legally permitted.
Governing law
The draft commercial terms use Delaware, United States law. EU customer data processing commitments are covered by the DPA and applicable transfer safeguards.
